Nursing Diagnosis for Fever : Hyperthermia related to the Infection Process

Goal and Expected Results:

After nursing actions, directing role in the normal temperature with the following criteria:
- The body temperature within normal limits
- Free from the cold
- Stable body temperature 36-37 C
- Thermoregulation within normal limits
- Nadi within normal limits
less than 1 month: 90-170
less than 1 year: 80-160
2 years: 80-120
6 years: 75-115
10 years: 70-110
14 years: 65-100
more than 14 years: 60-100
- Respiration within normal limits
Newborns: 30-50 x / min
Children: 15-30 x / min
Adults: 12-20 x / min

Intervention:
1. Monitor the client temperature (degree and pattern) note chills / diaforsis
2. Monitor the temperature of the environment, limit / add bed linen as indicated
3. Give a warm compress to avoid the use of alcohol
4. Give drink as needed
5. Collaboration for antipyretic administration.
